- Atta (Whole Wheat Flour)
- Vegetable Oil

- Ajwain (Carom Seeds)
Directions
- 1Add atta to a bowl
- 2Add
- 1/2 tbsp ajwain
- 3/4 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
make sure you don't add too much oil, or the puri would become khasta (hard) like a kachori
- 3Slowly add water and knead the dough. The dough should be harder than the dough made for roti.
- 4Once you think the dough has reached its optimum consistency, knead it 50 more times.
This helps develop more gluten networks, which leads to better texture.
