Malai Chicken Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 Medium onion
  • 1 bunch Dhaniya (Cilantro)
  • 1 bunch Pudina (Mint Leaves)
  • Mayonaise
  • Garlic
  • Maggi Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • Curd (Yogurt)
  • Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Green Chilli
  • Lemon
  • Frozen ParanthaKawan Parantha preferred
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Spices

  • Zeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • Bhuna Zeera (Roasted Cumin Powder)can just roast regular zeera powder on a pan
  • Dhaniya powder (Coriander Powder)
  • Red Chilli powder
  • Garam masala
  • Chat Masala
  • Black Pepper
  • Salt

Directions

Chicken

  1. 1Cut the chicken into small pieces
  2. 2Add
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice
    • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  3. 3Cover the chicken and let it rest for one hour.
  4. 4After resting add
    • 2-3 tbsp curd
    • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
    • 1/2 tbsp garlic paste
    • 1 tbsp crushed green chilli
    • 1/4 tsp garam masala
    • 1/2 tsp bhuna zeera (roasted cumin powder)
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
    • Pinch of salt
  5. 5Heat 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  6. 6Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook it until the chicken is cooked but the marinade is still moist and not reduced.

Garlic Mayo

  1. 1 1. In a bowl add
    • 4-5 tbsp mayonnaise
    • 2 cloves crushed garlic
    • 2 tbsp maggi sweet chilli sauce
  2. 2Mix well with a spoon.

Green Chutney

  1. 1In a blender add the following items
    • 1 cup fresh yogurt
    • 1/4 cup dhaniya
    • 1/4 cup mint leaves
    • 1/2 onion, cut
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • 2-3 green chillies
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp coriander powder
    • 1 tsp cumin powder
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • 1 tsp chat masala
    • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  2. 2Blend everything until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste test and adjust any spices

Assembling the Roll

  1. 1Cook the frozen parantha on a pan until golden and flaky
  2. 2Spread a generous amount of garlic mayo on the parantha
  3. 3Add
    • onion rings
    • chicken
  4. 4Roll the parantha tightly and serve with green chutney
